In every class, using the Hawkins Method, I guide you step-by-step, offer clear cues, and provide options for different bodies, different days, and different levels of energy. You’re welcome to leave your camera on or turn it off — and I’ll offer gentle corrections only if you’re open to them.
This isn’t about pushing through.
The Four P’s
The Hawkins Method is the framework that guides your practice inside the membership. Because every body is different, I’m here to help you navigate the space between where you are today and where you want to be.
Step 1
Most fitness programs hand you a workout and tell you to keep up. The Hawkins Method starts somewhere different — with you, exactly as you are right now.
Developed over more than two decades of teaching Pilates and working with real women navigating real bodies, the Hawkins Method is the foundation of everything inside the Beth Hawkins Pilates Membership. It is not about intensity or perfection. It is about building a practice that actually fits your body, your life, and where you are today.
Step 2
Before we move, we learn how to move. This foundational video walks you through the core principles behind every Pilates practice: breath work, pelvic floor engagement, and spinal alignment. These are the building blocks that make everything else work — and understanding them is what separates a Pilates practice that transforms from one that just tires you out.
Step 3
This is where we move together. Twice a week on Zoom, you join live Pilates classes built around the principles you have learned and tailored to the postural patterns we identified together. Every class includes modifications so you are never left behind, and a mindful closing practice — breathwork, EFT, or meditation — to bring you back to yourself before you carry on with your day.
Can’t make it live? Every class is recorded and waiting for you in your replay library.
Step 4
As your body grows stronger and more confident, the method grows with you. Each class includes higher-difficulty options for when you are ready to challenge yourself further — and as the membership evolves, so will the opportunities to deepen your practice through advanced workshops and elevated tiers.
This is not about keeping up. It is about building a practice that keeps showing up for you.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP
Join me via Zoom and move with guidance tailored to your body. Wrap each class with a mindful practice, and stick around for a cuppa where we’ll connect with the other beautiful women in our community. Can’t make a class? No worries! You can join us in spirit and all class replays will be stored in a video library for when you’re ready.
Each session is a full Pilates class, designed to build strength, mobility, balance, and confidence safely.
We end every class with a short meditation, EFT and/or breathwork practice to help you reset and leave feeling calm and grounded.
After class, you’re welcome to stay for a casual coffee chat — a space to connect, ask questions, and simply enjoy a few minutes of conversation.
You do not have to fit into Pilates. Pilates should fit you.
In my studio, I work with real women, real injuries, real stiffness, real fears, and real goals. My role is not to impress you — it’s to guide you safely, clearly, and kindly.

Hey! I’m Beth.
I’ve been teaching movement since 1996 and Pilates since 2001. Over the years, alongside raising my children and building a career as a firefighter, Pilates has been the work I always returned to.
What I love most is not choreography or trends — it’s helping women feel stronger, steadier, and more confident in their own bodies.
This membership is the space I’ve always wanted to create.
Q&A
Not at all. You don’t need to know the names of exercises or have any prior Pilates experience. I guide each class clearly and offer options along the way, so you can simply show up and follow along.
This entire program is designed for you to do from the comfort of your own home. I’d suggest having a mat to lie down on, and here and there I may recommend some extra equipment, most of which can be subbed out for things you already have around the house.
That’s completely normal — and expected. Pilates is about meeting your body where it is today. I offer modifications and encourage you to rest, adjust, or skip anything that doesn’t feel right for you.
Nope. You’re welcome to keep your camera on or off — whatever feels most comfortable. If you’re open to gentle guidance or corrections, I can offer those when your camera is on, but it’s always your choice.
There are two live sessions each week Tuesday at 7:30am and Thursday at 7:00pm. Life happens. All classes are recorded and stored in your online library, so you can practice whenever it works for you.
Not at all. The coffee chat is completely optional. Some days you might stay and chat, other days you might log off and carry on with your day — both are perfect.
You’re in excellent company. You don’t need perfect coordination, flexibility, or grace to be here — just a willingness to move. Pilates is learned over time, and a little wobble, laughter, or “wait… what are we doing?” is all part of the process.
